Exciting Casting Opportunity for Multiples of America!
Do you have or are you a twin between the ages of 16 and 60? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity! MrBeast, the renowned YouTube creator, and his team are on the lookout for twin sets to participate in an upcoming project. The filming dates are tentatively scheduled between May 27 and June 7, promising an unforgettable experience! Casting deadline for this opportunity is May 10, so twins who are interested should apply ASAP.
MrBeast and his production have partnered with Multiples of America to reach out to our members about this casting, and we’re thrilled to announce this incredible opportunity. The first step is simple: both twins need to fill out a quick form to express interest and provide essential details.
MrBeast is also accepting forms from twins younger than 16 (or older than 60) to be kept on file for possible future projects. (Parents may complete forms for young twins.)
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be part of an amazing project with MrBeast. You’ll find the link in the Members Only center of the website. You will need the username and password. Contact your local club officers or us at info@multiplesofamerica.org.
This announcement is exclusively for Multiples of America. Apply using the link shared and do not share outside of our organization/club members. Please do not share on any public social media platforms. MrBeast also asks that all details of the contest be kept highly confidential until the video airs. Please be aware that the Multiples of America or MrBeast team will never request compensation of any kind.
*Travel expenses for the selected participants are fully covered by the MrBeast Production Team.
Flat Multiples
My “flat multiples,” Holly and Noel, have been celebrating Multiple Birth Awareness month by going to the moon, reading books, eating cinnamon bread, and planning summertime hikes. Have your “flat multiples” or real multiples been on any adventures this April? It’s not too late to join in our “We are in the World” celebration, including a bingo game with prizes for you or your club. Find out more at https://multiplesofamerica.org/weareintheworld #multiplesareintheworld.
Multiple Match
Did you ever pass notes to a friend in school? Or open your mailbox to find a card and letter from your grandma? Personal notes add a bit of fun and caring to any day.
Our new Multiple Match program provides that personal connection in an electronic format. Sign up and we’ll work to match you with another member experiencing similar parenting or life challenges.
Right now, we are especially looking for matches for members with:

Timeless Treasures Gallery
I can barely draw a stick figure, but I know of so many parents of multiples who are busy painting, creating jewelry, card making, building, quilting, and more. There are so many talents within our midst! Many have offered to share their creations with us at convention — for viewing and for a silent auction (with proceeds to go toward convention expenses). Our “Timeless Treasures Gallery” will be held on Friday night as a part of MOMs Mall. If you would like to donate an item (or two) for the gallery, contact Events Vice President, Kim Simonich, at events@multiplesofamerica.org.
Thanks and Wishes
Thanks go out to the Mountain States Mothers of Adult Multiples (AZ), Southside Parents of Multiples (IN), Greater Nashua Parents of Twins and More (NH), and members from several clubs who call themselves the “Posse” for their offers to assist with convention by hosting or financing all or part of an event. Thanks, also, to several members and National Workers who have offered to help by providing items for raffles, leading networking discussions, welcoming attendees, and more.
Send an email to Events Vice President, Kim Simonich, events@multiplesofamerica.org if you would like to share a bit of your time, talent, or expertise for our annual meeting. If you’d like to make a small donation, but aren’t sure what we need, check out our Amazon wish list at https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2A0CI5DDSNYX2?ref=cm_sw_em_r_un_un_UyQmhKfXpB6Yr.
Research Continuing
Dr. Nancy Segal from California State University is continuing her research study on the unique experiences of multiples (and their siblings) born to mixed-background couples and of the parents who raise them. She would like to interview these families in person or by zoom and get responses to a brief questionnaire. A report presenting general findings with no mention of names will be made available to all participants. Find out more about Dr. Segal’s project and how to connect with her on our website: https://multiplesofamerica.org/segal_research, or email Dr. Segal directly at nsegal@fullerton.edu.
Member of the Year
We are once again looking for your club’s “Member of the Year.” This is a special honor to recognize the efforts of one member of your club who goes above and beyond. Each club selects its own “Member of the Year.” All honorees will be announced and celebrated at our annual convention. (Convention attendance is not required to receive the award.) Look for information on how to submit your club’s choice in the April Mailing III (the dues renewal mailing), which will be emailed to your club’s representatives soon.
The National Perinatal Association Partnership
Our new partner, The National Perinatal Association (NPA), brings together parents, health professionals and providers who are interested in pregnancy and newborn care to share, to listen and to learn from each other. Established in 1976, NPA provides free research-based resources in areas such as breastfeeding, mental health, NICU parenting, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). They also present guidelines and recommendations based in research and best practices in areas such as care of late preterm infants and psychosocial support of NICU parents. Read more about NPA in the May issue of Multiple Connections or visit their website at https://www.nationalperinatal.org.
Invite2Connect
Invite2Connect is a two-fold outreach project aimed at connecting with parents with newborn multiples through hospitals, partner organizations, and your local clubs. Multiples of America will provide postcards your club can distribute to help connect those parents with your club. Find out more about this project in the Members Only Center of our website.
Club Connections
Did you know you are a rock star? The latest issue of Club Connections tells you why! There is also an article about one of our newest partners, the Superhero Project, Inc., specifics about our new Multiple Match program and more. You can find the latest issue and all recent issues in the Members Only Center.
Local Clubs Rallying Together
Tidewater MOMs (VA) hosted their bi-annual consignment sale in March. They sold 3,420 items: Baby gear, children’s clothing, toys, books, maternity and more. The club rallied together to make it happen, and they will do it all again at their next sale in October!
Long Beach Lakewood Mothers of Twins Club (CA) will be celebrating their 65th anniversary at their installation dinner this spring.
Upstate Parents of Multiples (SC) shared “Self-Care Tips as a Mom of Multiples” on their club’s Facebook page. Tips included: Get one-on-one time, talk to other moms of multiples, enjoy the attention, and be just a mom for the day.
