Have you heard about Flat Stanley (a children’s book by Jeff Brown) and all the many adventures Stanley Lambchop has touring around the world? Students in many schools across the United States are now making a paper doll like Flat Stanley that represents them, then taking them on adventures.

With Flat Stanley as inspiration, Multiples of America is celebrating Multiple Birth Awareness month this April with a Flat Multiple project. We have titled it, “We are in the World.”

Have your own multiples design their Flat Multiple, or use pictures to make it look like your multiples.

Throughout April, take your Flat Multiples out into the world as you go shopping, to playgroups, the library, on vacation, wherever you go. Snap a picture or two. Post the pictures on your social media, your club’s Facebook page or on the Multiples of America Facebook group so that we can see all the interesting places our multiples go. Be sure to includ the hashtag #multiplesareintheworld!

As you post, you can join in our “We are in the World” bingo game. Fill your bingo card, and you might win a a prize yourself or your club!
