The pathway to learning the ABCs and 123s starts at home. Our March Great Expectations Seminar, “Learning Through the Early Years,” is here to provide early childhood resources to help in that journey! We’ll focus on things that parents/caregivers can do during the early years through the first years of school to make learning fun. Plus offer tips for at-home activities you can do with your multiples.
We’ll meet Thurs., March 26, 7:30 P.M. Central (8:30 P.M. Eastern, 6:30 P.M. Mountain, 5:30 P.M. Pacific).
Kim Simonich, expert educator and mother of twins, will lead the seminar. Kim has a BA in Early Childhood Education and a MS in Reading. She taught kindergarten for 13 years, provided general reading support for Kindergarten through fourth grade for nine years, and worked as a specialized reading support teacher for dyslexic students in grades 5-8 for 13 years. Work she continues to this day, as well as serving as a private reading tutor for 12 years. Kim is also a certified Orton-Gillingham practitioner and has a graduate certificate in Dyslexia and Language-Based Learning.

What is Great Expectations Multiplied?
This year we’re calling our beginning years series, Great Expectations Multiplied. That’s because we’ve multiplied the number of seminars, expanded the content, and added to the connections we’re offering for expectant parents and parents with young multiples.
Upcoming seminars in the Great Expectations Multiplied lineup include:

Additional resources for expectant and young parents will be shared during each seminar. Plus a few participants of each seminar will be randomly selected to receive gift cards!
