GREAT EXPECTATIONS MULTIPLIED SEMINARS

March Great Expectations Multiplied Seminar

"Learning Through the Early Years"

Thursday, March 26, 2026 - 7:30 pm Central

The pathway to learning the ABCs and 123s starts at home. Our March Great Expectations Seminar, “Learning Through the Early Years,” is here to provide early childhood resources to help in that journey! We’ll focus on things that parents/caregivers can do during the early years through the first years of school to make learning fun. Plus offer tips for at-home activities you can do with your multiples.

We’ll meet Thurs., March 26, 7:30 P.M. Central (8:30 P.M. Eastern, 6:30 P.M. Mountain, 5:30 P.M. Pacific).

Kim Simonich, expert educator and mother of twins, will lead the seminar. Kim has a BA in Early Childhood Education and a MS in Reading. She taught kindergarten for 13 years, provided general reading support for Kindergarten through fourth grade for nine years, and worked as a specialized reading support teacher for dyslexic students in grades 5-8 for 13 years. Work she continues to this day, as well as serving as a private reading tutor for 12 years. Kim is also a certified Orton-Gillingham practitioner and has a graduate certificate in Dyslexia and Language-Based Learning.

Areas covered will include:

  • How to track your multiple’s pathways to early learning
  • How play can foster learning
  • When reading readiness starts
  • Why early math readiness is more than numbers
  • Ways you can encourage language development as part of your daily routine

What is the Great Expectations Multiplied Seminar Series?

What is Great Expectations Multiplied?

This year we’re calling our beginning years series, Great Expectations Multiplied. That’s because we’ve multiplied the number of seminars, expanded the content, and added to the connections we’re offering for expectant parents and parents with young multiples.

Upcoming seminars in the Great Expectations Multiplied lineup include:

  • April – Sleep for Toddlers
  • May – First Steps in Parenting Multiples
  • June – Managing Multiples’ Behavior

Click on the flyer below for more information on upcoming seminars.

Additional resources for expectant and young parents will be shared during each seminar. Plus a few participants of each seminar will be randomly selected to receive gift cards!

The Great Expectations Multiplied project is partially funded through a grant from the Prolacta Bioscience Foundation.
