SUPPORT FOR LOCAL CLUBS

What is a National Representative and how do they help my club?

A National Representative provides a special connection between your club and Multiples of America. Some communications from our Executive Office are emailed out to all members; other communications are sent only to your club’s two contacts, the President and your National Representative. These communications sent to National Representatives include fall and spring mailings, Club Connections, Club Helpline, and other emails. The National Representative is then asked to share the information from these emails and publications with all club members. So if you have a question about Multiples of America’s services or benefits, check in with your club’s National Representative; you can also always email our Executive Office at info@multiplesofamerica.org with any questions you have.

How can I learn more about other clubs: what supports and activities they offer members and what challenges they are facing?

Multiples of America has several club programming resources available in the Members’ Only Center of the website, https://multiplesofamerica.org/members-only-center/, including a presentation by our former Parliamentarian, Patti Beemer, on Important Issues for Clubs. Additional resources and brochures specific to club management and membership recruitment are in development.

Club Connections, a bi-monthly newsletter, features articles specific to club management and leaders as well as organizational news. Each issue of the newsletter is emailed to all club Presidents and National Representatives, but all members can access the publication in the Members’ Only section of the website.

Three of the Zoom Connects, planned for 2023, also offer a chance for clubs to share and brainstorm together. Those connects will focus on areas such as club programming, growing membership and leadership, new mom support, and summertime activities.

Multiples of America Leadership Shareshop Facebook page also offers a forum for discussion on topics related to club management, as well as an avenue for organizational information. If you have a question about challenges your club is facing, try an online chat with fellow members at:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/moaleadershareshop

Multiples of America can also provide individualized technical assistance for your club through our board and National Worker volunteers. Contact our Executive Office at info@multiplesofamerica.org to get connected.

The principal at my children’s school wants to place my twins into separate classrooms. I know they would learn better if they could be in the same classroom. Does Multiples of America have any research or materials on classroom placement?
