OCTOBER 2025

A bit of news about things happening with Multiples of America. Check out the quiz at the end for your chance to win a gift card!

A Winner!
58 members emailed their answers to the September quiz. A perfect score is not the aim; everyone who joins in the fun is entered into the drawing. The survey looked at multiple connections that can be found at state fairs across the nation. Answers to that quiz:

  1. Twin sisters and social media stars Ako and Kako Ono from Japan, known as the “hungry twins,” recently visited the California State Fair to try some of the most popular fair foods from turkey legs to wine slushies.
  1. You can ride on the Double Decker Merry Go Round at the South Carolina State Fair.
  1. The Iowa State Fair features a contest called Twins, Triplets, and More with entrants divided into age brackets and judged on how similar they look.
  2. Attendees of the Kansas State Fair can often be on hand as multiple pigs, calves, and sheep are born at the Birthing Center.
  1. While they look like twins and often appear together, the Minnesota State Fair mascots, Fairchild and Fairborne, are actually an uncle and his nephew.

Winner of the gift card drawing is Carly Cohen, Nassau County Parents of Multiples Club (NY). Find the October quiz at the end of this email.

GIVING BACK
Can You Be Our Ambassador?
Our Ambassador Program is a way for members to give back to the organization without making the year-long commitment of being a National Worker volunteer. As they say, “it takes a village” to build all of the connections we provide for members and member clubs. Find out how you can join in: https://multiplesofamerica.org/ambassador/

Ready to Inspire another Parent of Multiples?
What’s a MULTItale? Everyone has a unique story to tell, and our multiples community is filled with wonderful stories. There are funny stories, exciting stories, inspiring and challenging stories: stories about the joys and challenges of parenting multiples or the support of a club, stories about how our lives have been touched and changed because of the connections with parents of multiples near and far. Your stories are a powerful way to spotlight the experience of parenting multiples and to offer hope and inspiration to those now on a similar journey. Share your story.
