Wondering if it’s possible to breastfeed two or more? Or already in the midst of breastfeeding your multiples and looking for some tips? Whether you plan to exclusively breastfeed your multiples, prefer to combo feed or aren’t sure what options will work best for you – this Zoom is for you!
Lindsay Castiglione, BSW, IBCLC, twin-feeding specialist, proud mom of two sets of twins and owner of Full Hearts Collaborative, will provide expecting and new parents with simple, realistic guidance for navigating breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle-feeding in the early weeks with multiples. You’ll explore what’s normal for newborn multiples, how to establish and protect milk supply, and foundational strategies for beginning breastfeeding—whether feeding one-at-a-time or tandem. Participants will also learn when and how to integrate pumping, and why it commonly plays an important role in feeding newborns. Lindsay will also discuss supplementing with formula or donor milk in the early days, when it may be needed, and how to balance bottle use without disrupting breastfeeding or milk production. Brief NICU-focused guidance will be provided for families anticipating preterm delivery or time in the hospital. By the end of the session, expectant and new parents will have a clear, realistic understanding of the early feeding experience and practical tools for navigating a variety of scenarios while still meeting their feeding goals.
Indeed, it will be a full menu at the February Great Expectations Multiplied seminar:
“Essential Things You Need to Know About Feeding Your Newborn Multiples.”
Wed., February 24, 7:30 p.m. Central (8:30 p.m. Eastern, 6:30 p.m. Mountain, 5:30 p.m. Pacific).

Lindsay Castiglione, BSW, IBCLC, is a twin-feeding specialist and founder of Full Hearts Collaborative, a lactation consulting practice dedicated to supporting families of twins and multiples. She has worked with more than 350 families with twins or triplets, providing individualized guidance on breastfeeding, pumping, bottle-feeding, and navigating NICU-related challenges. Lindsay brings a unique blend of professional expertise and personal insight as a parent of two sets of twins, allowing her to offer practical, realistic, and compassionate care to families during one of the most demanding stages of parenthood. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice, emotional attunement, and a deep belief that every family deserves support that truly understands the complexity of feeding multiples.
This year we’re calling our beginning years series, Great Expectations Multiplied. That’s because we’ve multiplied the number of seminars, expanded the content, and added to the connections we’re offering for expectant parents and parents with young multiples.
Upcoming seminars in the Great Expectations Multiplied lineup include:
March – Learning During the Young Years
April – Sleep for Toddlers
May – First Steps in Parenting Multiples
June – Managing Multiples’ Behavior
Additional resources for expectant and young parents will be shared during each seminar. Plus a few participants of each seminar will be randomly selected to receive gift cards!
