Speaking of dreaming big, our Events Department focuses their work on planning activities and bringing them to life. Their work during the 2022-23 term is focused on: 

• Organizing and publicizing the Multiples of America annual fundraising campaign. The 2022 campaign was themed “Gift and Give Multiplied”, and raised nearly $4,000 in donations!  

• Hosting Zoom Connects with a mix of fun and learning. The department organized the online Holiday Connect featuring story time, cookie decorating, and ornament making for members and their families. They are also planning Zoom Connects with card making, a book club, and vacation planning tips during the first months of 2023.

• Organizing and publicizing activities for Multiple Birth Awareness Month in April. In 2022, the department promoted a nationwide virtual run. Stay tuned for their plans for April 2023!

• Planning for the organization’s annual meeting. The department is developing a theme, agenda, and workshop topics for our 2023 in-person annual meeting, to be held in Orlando, FL, July 27-29. They are also working to secure speakers and sponsors for the meeting.

• Working with the Communication and Marketing Department and Media and Publications Department to share information about events with clubs and members.
