Board News
The board is working with our volunteers to deliver the services and benefits you enjoy from year to year, as well as develop new initiatives focused on support and connection.
• Mark your calendar to join in our Gift and Give Multiplied campaign in late November. This annual campaign is one way you can support the work of Multiples of America and share our message with your friends and family. Look for more information in the coming weeks.
• A Club Helpline email was sent to club leaders early this month. The email, which will be sent bi-monthly, includes a cute graphic that clubs can use in their newsletters or social media accounts, plus a quick review of the services and activities of one of our departments or committees.
• Partnerships with two new organizations have been arranged: The TAPS Support Foundation and NICU Awareness. And we’ve connected with the Fetal Health Foundation and Lily’s Hope to continue and grow those partnerships. These partnerships allow us to support each other’s work by sharing of information on social media and on our respective websites. (See the quiz below to learn more about our partnerships).
• We’re working to grow our social media connections. You can now join us on Instagram @multiplesofamerica.
Membership Connection
Only a few days left in this month. Has your club sent in membership dues? I hope so. The deadline for dues is September 30.

Watch For This
Our website is growing and changing almost daily. Check out this new item:
Guidelines for Education brochure
This brochure shares Multiples of America’s position paper concerning school placement of multiple birth children. It covers areas such as separate or together classroom placement, retention, parental input, and more. It’s a great resource to share with teachers and administrators.

Local Clubs Leading the Way
I went on an internet search of club websites and Facebook pages and found a treasure trove of ideas for activities, fundraisers, and support.
There’s a powerful quote on the homepage for the Huntsville Area Mothers of Multiples (AL). It says: “As moms, we are in it together. Raising the future. We are a tribe of future makers. So, let’s support each other.” Marissa Hermer.
MultipliCity Delaware Valley Families of Multiples (PA) planned for their annual s’mores hayride for families, including grandparents and extended family members, in September. Sounds like such a yummy way to connect!
Multiples of Kansas City (MO) held “Five Below” shopping days for a week in September with 10% of all sales generated by the organization during that time going to help support the club.
