“Raising our Children to Walk in Freedom“
This dynamic mother/daughter duo will be sharing wit and wisdom about creating an environment to raise our children to walk in freedom each day; with loving attitudes and living life to the fullest. As our keynote speaker in Atlanta, Curline touched us with her presentation and members still rave about the insights and information she shared with us. We are thrilled she will be joining us again, this time with her daughter, Candace.
Curline Paul-Olusula was born in Grenada. She is a professional nurse with 19+ years of experience in outpatient psychiatric practice and 10+ years in multiple areas of nursing, including education, mentoring, management, leadership, long-term care, and acute care settings. She is a proud mother of three adult children, Kevin, Candace and Kellon, mother-in-love to daughter-in-law, Leigh, and new grandmother to, Kaia Noelle. She is an avid reader but by her own account, Curline counts her children as her greatest accomplishments.
Candace Olusola, Pharm.D., M.P.H. obtained her B.S. in Chemistry with a Biochemistry emphasis at Southern Adventist University in Tennessee, her Pharm.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in Kentucky, and her M.P.H. from The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. She works as a Health Outcomes Pharmacist for Walgreens in Kentucky and is also one of the first members of the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy’s Diversity and Inclusion Task Force. Her greatest desire is to advocate for and empower people through empathy and laughter. Her hobbies include traveling, speaking Spanish, learning languages, ballroom dancing, playing her instruments and singing, making people laugh, as much, and as often as possible, spending time with family, and working on her podcast First Paso.
