CLUB HELPLINE - NOVEMBER 2023 ISSUE

Multiples of America offers a Building A Dynamic Club Toolbox, and if your club has trouble keeping members active once their kids pass the elementary years, we have just the tools for you! One of the best materials in this toolbox: Club Tips for Maintaining Membership of Parents with Older Multiples.

Keeping veteran members active is important for a number of reasons beyond simply keeping your membership numbers robust. These members bring huge value to the club, and they can share their knowledge with new moms. Some clubs even offer Big Sister-type programs to connect each new mom with a veteran mom.

Here’s a sampling of the section headings on our tip sheet, with ideas under each category for keeping members with older multiples active and engaged:

  • Special events
  • Family activities
  • Club programs
  • Focused services
  • Recognition
  • Open communication
  • Leadership
  • Winning back members

For more details on this toolkit and for other ways we support your local club, look for the heading Members Only Content and Archives after you log in to the Members Only section of our website at multiplesofamerica.org. Or you can contact our Research and Membership Development Vice President Gwen Shogren at membership@multiplesofamerica.org.

We want to give you plenty of tools to make your job easier! Below is a graphic you can use in your local club newsletter and on your social media pages this month or next.
