A visit to Tucson offers opportunities for outdoor adventures or visits to museums and theatres. It promises plenty of sunshine, glimpses of stunning desert landscapes, and views of towering mountains. Read more about these experiences and other surprising Tucson adventures in our convention booklet.
Thursday at convention is a special chance to experience Tucson together. We’ve planned a day trip to Sabino Canyon and the Mini Time Museum of Miniatures, or you can spend the day creating your own adventure. Transportation is included. Lunch is not included.
An array of Friday afternoon workshops bring opportunities for learning ways to strengthen your leadership skills, walk your club through challenging times, empower career pathways, revive yourself through sound healing and more. Our keynote speaker also comes ready to offer you both inspiration and laughter for your life and parenting journey. Check the convention booklet to find out more.
An array of Friday afternoon workshops bring opportunities for learning ways to walk yourself and your club through challenging times, to hear about the results of the Arizona Twin Research Project, or to create a special memento you can take back home. Plus a special dance class during the Saturday night party will have everyone joining the “line.” Our keynote speaker also promises a humorous, yet heartfelt, look at the unique challenges moms of multiples face—from the early days of exhaustion and survival mode to navigating identity beyond motherhood. Check the convention booklet to find out more.
Whether this is your first or 30th convention, you’ll find a friend (or two or three). Perhaps you’ll find some fellow parents heading to Saguaro National Park or Biosphere 2. Maybe you’ll chat with leaders from other clubs at the President’s MeetUp, or cheer with your tablemates during the Saturday luncheon “Multiples Feud” game. Or you’ll decide to dance the night away or splurge with a giant ice cream sundae at the Saturday night party. Whatever your plans, you’ll connect with friends old and new from across the country.
You’ll have a chance to join in the fun and win some special items during our Friday evening bingo bonanza. (No entry fee required!) But do bring along your wallet, a silent auction filled with “Treasures Galore!” will offer a great way to pair some fun with supporting the organization. Both give the chance to get some great mementos to take back home!
Above all, we gather to do the business of our organization. We review the work of the past term, elect new officers for our board of directors, consider the proposed budget and bylaw amendment, and share how we can move our mission forward.
